Why not just scrap it? The fault may be small

A scrap yard pays for your car by the kilo. But plenty of "dead" cars are one battery, sensor, starter motor or fuel pump away from running again, and a car that has a working engine, gearbox, catalytic converter or clean body panels is worth far more than its weight in metal. We look at what still has value and price it. If it really is scrap, we'll tell you straight.
