Quick answer
To sell a high mileage car in the UAE, send us the exact mileage, service history if you have it, how it drives and a few photos. High mileage lowers resale value, but a well-maintained engine and gearbox still carry weight. We make an offer, collect free, handle the paperwork and pay by cash or bank transfer.
We buy any high mileage car
UAE cars rack up kilometres fast. Daily commutes between emirates, weekend drives to Hatta or Liwa, and delivery or ride-hailing work can put a car past 300,000 km well before it looks old. Buyers on classifieds sites often filter these cars out entirely, which is why owners assume they're worthless.
| Mileage | What buyers often assume | What we look at |
|---|---|---|
| 150,000 to 250,000 km | Big service items due soon | Service history, gearbox behaviour |
| 250,000 to 400,000 km | Worn out | Model durability, engine health, body |
| 400,000 km and above | Scrap only | Parts value, export demand, what still works |
Why some high mileage cars keep their value
Distance itself isn't damage. Highway kilometres, which a lot of UAE mileage is, are gentler on a car than stop-start city driving. Some models are also known for going a very long way when they're maintained, and there's ongoing regional demand for them. Toyota Land Cruisers, Nissan Patrols and many Toyota and Lexus sedans are good examples.
- Service records show the engine and gearbox were looked after. Stamps, invoices or dealer printouts all help.
- Gearbox behaviour matters more than the engine on many high mileage automatics.
- Taxi or fleet history is fine to mention. It's priced in, not a deal breaker.
Selling privately vs to us
If your high mileage car runs well, has history and you have a few weeks, a private sale can work. Expect questions, test drives and offers based on the odometer rather than the car. If it has a fault as well as the mileage, or you simply want it done this week, a direct offer is usually the smarter route.

What we check on a high mileage car
- How it drives: smooth gear changes, no knocking, no smoke.
- Service records: regular oil changes and gearbox servicing matter more than the number on the clock.
- Wear items: suspension, engine mounts, cooling system and AC, which often need attention past 200,000 km.
- Body and interior: a clean car with high mileage suggests it was looked after.
- Model: durable, in-demand models hold value much better at high mileage.
