When an old car stops making sense to keep
There's rarely one dramatic moment. More often it's a sequence: a failed inspection, an AC repair in June, then a quote for the gearbox. Some honest signs it may be time to sell:
- Repairs in the last year add up to a large share of the car's value.
- It needs work to pass the annual inspection and renew the registration.
- Parts are getting harder to find or slow to arrive.
- You no longer trust it for a long drive, like Dubai to Abu Dhabi.

Selling an old car that has sat for a long time
Older cars often reach us after months parked beside a villa or in a basement. Expect a dead battery, flat or cracked tyres, sticky brakes and a registration that lapsed along the way. None of that stops a sale.
